Geographical Area: 181,035 sq. km. (69,900 sq. mi.)

Cities: Capital--Phnom Penh (pop. 1.2 million)

Other cities: Battambang, Siem Reap, Kompong Cham, Kompong Speu, Kompong Thom. Terrain: Central plain drained by the Tonle Sap (Great Lake) and Mekong and Bassac Rivers. Population: 15 millions

Ninety percent of Cambodia's population is ethnically Cambodian. Other ethnic groups include Chinese, Vietnamese, hill tribes, Chams, and Laotian. Theravada Buddhism is the religion of 95% of the population; Islam, animism, and Christianity also are practiced. Khmer is the official language and is spoken by more than 95% of the population. Some French is still spoken in urban areas, and English is increasingly popular as a second language.

Day 1: Siem Reap arrival (L,D)

Arrival in Siem Reap, greeting and transferring by tour guide to hotel. Check-In hotel. Then visit the local market, buy traditional ingredients, gold and silver products, ruby, wood and stone carving, Lunch. PM: drive to Lake Tonle Sap where you will have the opportunity to learn about life on the water. Tonle Sap is Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, the size of which quadruples during the wet season. You will board a boat and visit Kampong Phluck to see life in this floating village. There will be a chance to visit the Artisans D'Angkor workshop to see wood and stone carvings, dinner in the City (buffet with Apsara dance show), over night in Siem Reap.

Day 2: Siemreap (B,L,D)

After breakfast in the hotel, visit the South great city of Angkor Thom. An eight meter high wall surrounds this ancient civilization that was the last capital of the empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. From here you continue to the Bayon Temple and the terrace of the Elephants and the terrace of the Leper King and enigmatic temples of Ta Phrom. Lunch at Local Restaurant. Start visiting the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat where intricate carvings and looming towers will leave you breathless. The day ends with a spectacular sunset at Phnom Bakheng. (according to the season) Dinner in town, over night in Siem Reap.

Day 3: Siem Reap - Departure ( B )

Free time until transfer to Siem Reap international airport to board for the next destination. End of Tour.

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival ( D )

Up on the arrival in Siem Reap international airport, greeted by tour guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2: Angkor: Temple Roluos Group - Banteay Srei - Banteay Samre (B/L/D)

After breakfast visit to the temple Roluos group with the temples of Preah Ko, and Bakong Lolei. Then transfer to the temples of Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3: Angkor Wat (B/L/D)

After breakfast the day starts visiting the most important cultural centers of the country: the South Gate of Angkor Thom with the famous Bayon complex, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Baphoun temple. In the afternoon visit the world wonder of Angkor Wat, built by the Khmer king Siriyavaram important in 40 years of work by countless architects and sculptors. The day is rounded off by the visit of Phnom Bakheng hill from where you can experience the sunset over Angkor a unique spectacle. Return to the hotel, stop for foot massage. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Angkor jungle temple Ta Prohm - Floating villages (B/L/D)

After breakfast we will visit next: Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei and Ta Phrom. Then cruise on the Tonle Sap Lake with visiting floating villages. On the return trip stopover at Wat Athovea. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 5: Siem Reap - Home Flight (B)
