Tour Includes:
Accommodation, American breakfast, admission fees, porters, guides and the sightseeing as deribed in the itinerary. Any unused portion of the package will not be refunded. All rates in USD. Conversions to Indonesia rupiah is based on the rate at the time of pringing and therefore are subject to change without notice depending on currency fluctuations. Luggage allowance accommodates one suitcase of average size and small travelling bag per person.

Reservation and Payment:
To secure a reservation, a non-refundable deposit of US$ 100 is required, the balance of payment to be settled within 45 days prior to departure. Any cancellation is refundable to 50% of the above balance amount, only if our office is informed a minimum of 14 days prior to departure. Otherwise, no refund will be given.

We act solely in the capacity as an agent in arranging for transportation, hotel accommodation and other services, and therefore cannot be held responsible and shall, in no circumstances whatsoever, be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident or delay due to any act of default of any person, hotel or other parties. The Magnificent Java-Bali Overland

IndonesiaJAVA... The richest, most lush, and most densely populated of Indonesia's Island, has an extraordinarily diverse landscape, from towering volcanoes to dense forest, manicured rice paddies and teeming cities, thanks largely to the early development of wet-rice cultivation imported from India. The famous wayang theatre is almost wholly non-Islamic, and leading politicians are often influenced by mystic teachers, black magicians, and healers.

DAY 1: Arrival Jakarta

Arrive at Soekarno Hatta Jakarta International Airport, meeting service and direct transfer to hotel.

DAY 2: Jakarta - Bogor - Bandung (B, L)

Start from Hotel Jakarta, depart by air-conditioned coach to Bogor, a visit to the well-known Botanical Garden -- it is a huge, world-class botanical garden, covering an area of around 80 hectares. Founded in 1817, the gardens contain streams and lotus ponds, and it has a collection of magnificent palm. The garden's orchid houses with more than 3000 orchid varieties. Then continue a drive to Puncak Pass Mountain Resort (1600 metres above sea level), passing through beautiful scenry of Tea Plantation to Bandung. Lunch is provided at a local restaurant enroute.

DAY 3: Bandung (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Scenic drive through Lembang hills to the crater of Mount Tangkuban Perahu and to Sariater hot springs. After lunch, proceed to your hotel.

OPTIONAL TOUR

Afternoon tour visit Padasuka village to listen to the melodious sounds of Angklung music using bamboo instruments.

DAY 4: Bandung - Garut - Tasikmalaya - Baturaden (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Baturaden via Tasikmalaya; visit Naga Village, Sundanese traditional village. Lunch at a local restaurant, and then continue driving, crossing the border to Central Java passing teakwood and rubber plantations to Baturaden.

DAY 5: Baturaden - Dieng Plateau - Yogyakarta (B, L)

After breakfast drive to Wonosobo. Excursion to Dieng Plateau (about 2200m above sea level) with some of Java's oldest temples standing on an open field. After lunch, drive further to the City of Yogyakarta.

Day 6: Yogyakarta (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Kraton (Sultan's Palace) and see traditional Javanese crafts silversmiths and batik processing. Lunch provided at a local restaurant in town.

Borobudur TempleAfternoon visit to Borobudur Temple, the massive stone stupa of Borobudur is one of the greatest of all ancient architectural monuments. Built with forced labour from the surrounding countryside between about AD 750 and 850, Borobudur predates Angkor Wat in Cambodia by three centuries. Its ensembles of stone relieft panels are virtual history of Mahayana Buddhist doctrine as well as providing scholars with detailed information about life in 8th and 9th century Java. Buried under volcanic ash and tropical growth, it was only rediscovered in 1815. It has recently been fully restored by at International effort under the aegis of UNESCO.

Temple of PrambananDAY 7: Yogyakarta - Malang (B, L)

After breakfast, visit the magnificent 9th Century Hindu Temple of Prambanan, then drive via the town of Solo to Malang. Lunch provided enroute.

DAY 8: Malang - Kalibaru (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Malang is known as an old colonial retirement town with some colonial buildings, refreshingly green parks and streets. Depart to Kalibaru via the city of Probolinggo and Jatiroto. Lunch is served at the city of Jember. Afternoon, arrive at Kalibaru and experience living in the atmosphere of a village surrounded by coffee & cocoa plantation.

OPTIONAL TOUR

Early morning Bromo excursion drive by minibus to Wonokitri via Malang, Purwodadi, Nongkojajar and Tosari then continue to Bromo Volcano in Tengger. From the rim of the caldera of Bromo Volcano, you will enjoy experience of spectacular scene during sunrise. Breakfast will be provided at a local restaurant.

DAY 9: Kalibaru - Bali (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning plantation walking tour with various crops will be seen here. Escorted by experienced tour guides explaining about the plants in the plantation garden adjacent to Margo Utomo Agro Resort. Vanilla, coffee, coconut, snake-fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, rubber trees, and cocoa are the variety of crops which you may have known before taking this trip. Then depart to Ketapang Harbour, cross the Straits of Bali by ferry. Lunch will be provided enroute. Then your last lap takes you along the beautiful west coast of the Bali island in the direction of Denpasar.
